Ana Gilmete Fernandes Andrade passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Ana F. Andrade with her loved ones surrounding her.
She was the beloved wife of the late Abel Andrade, they were happily married for 50 years. She was the loving mother of 12 children in which 11 are alive.
Besides her children, she is survived by 36 grandchildren and about 50 great grandchildren. She is one of nine siblings.
She was a devoted family woman who was love and respected by all.
During her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, music from her native land Cape Verde, laughing, and dancing. She was also the #1 fan of Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed Jeopardy and The Golden Girls.
